Lets give it up for the flight attendant!

Flight Attendant Escapes!

First of all, this is one of the greatest stories I've heard on the news in quite some time. What a great way to run out of your job... unless of course you're looking for a reference.

Today I worked a 9 hour shift without even a small break. After endless hours of putting on a smile and acting like a bubbly overeager girl ready to serve, really the only thing I want to do is slap the next person in the face who asks me to do something for them. I think everyone gets a little sick of work once in a while... or often. Who wouldn't want to go out the way that this guy did? If I had the money, I'd have bailed this guy out just because he is awesome and I think what he did was ballsy and hilarious. Serves that woman right, I hope she thinks twice next time she plans to yell at someone for doing their JOB.

Sometimes it's the smallest things in your day that can matter the most. When someone is serving you, be sure to treat them with respect. Sure it may be their job to serve you, but they are working just as hard as you do to earn their way through life. Even just a simple smile and a thank you or you did a great job! can mean the most in a person's day. After a day of several horrible nightmare tables in a shift, sometimes all it takes is one great table to turn my day around! Remember this next time you go out to eat or to get a drink.

  1. seriously.. best story ever. my mom told me about it. he's my hero. when i'm finally ready to retire, i'm going out with a bang. and i agree with the respect issue. servers are treated so poorly. people never sit down and think about their actions. ever. if their food comes our wrong, 99.9% of the time it has nothing to do with the server. and if you are in such a damn hurry, get drive-thru.
