Real Life

Since I've been incredibly sick, I've been spending a lot of time sitting in my room hanging out with HBO and Showtime. How wonderful it is to watch endless movies, which bring me to write this blog. Last week I watched The Time Travelers Wife. While this movie did make me cry sadly, it is nothing close to realistic. Obviously I know people cannot time travel, but that is not what I'm referring to. I'm talking about the love between to two main characters. The same love you see in movies like the Notebook. I do not believe that love like this exists. Someone please prove me wrong. Has anyone ever truly seen two people so "in love," that they literally hurt to be away from each other? Watch these movies and tell me you've ever been through this. If you have, then consider yourself lucky I guess. As for me? I am in love with a city, and that city is New York. New York won't ditch me for another girl, New York won't let me down, and New York will always be there for me!

Until one day that oh so great thing they call love comes and slaps me in the face... I do not believe in it.
